Khamba Lam Choijamts will talk about the little known recent history of Mongolian Buddhism, explain practical aspects of how a Buddhist in Mongolia leads their spiritual life and how this can be an example to Westerners. He will illuminate insights in particular meditation practices, lead a meditation for Buddhists and non Buddhists and give a general blessing to everyone.

His Eminence is the inspirational heart of the revival of Buddhism in Mongolia. He was one of the hand-full of monks allowed to study Buddhism in Mongolian during the communist times. In 1991, he was elected as the Abbot of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery and has worked tirelessly revitalizing the unique Mongolian Buddhist tradition.

Mongolian Music will be performed by Michael Ormiston & Candida Valentino, the UK’s leading exponents of Mongolian Overtone Singing (Khöömii).
